Maria Fo Mission is a group of women volunteers who meet weekly (In
Finn Hall on Wednesdays immediately following the 8:00am Mas) to sew and prepare supplies for shipment to third world countries. We collect and use clean cotton, synthetic and flannel sheets (white,
colored, and print) pillowcases, mattress pads, blankets and towels. Men's shirts are cut and sewn into hospital gowns. Material for sewing and yarn for knitting is useful. Unused toiletry
articles, plastic gloves, pins, ace bandage, support hose, and medical equipment are needed. NO MEDICATION accepted! We appreciate your support in helping the suffering poor throughout the
world. Contact: Rita, 617 325 7207; Marge, 617 325 5280; Eileen, 617 325 0687. |
